Are Chilluna shampoo bars soap-based?
No. Chilluna shampoo bars are soap-free syndet formulas developed specifically for hair and scalp and adjusted to a mildly acidic pH. Chilluna’s traditional art soaps are separate products intended for hands and body.
Which shampoo bar is right for me?

How long does a shampoo bar last?
How long a shampoo bar lasts depends on hair length, washing frequency, application method, and how the bar is stored. Because Chilluna bars are concentrated, allowing them to dry fully between uses helps them stay firm and last through many washes.

How should I store shampoo and conditioner bars?
Allow your bars to drain and dry fully between uses on a well-draining soap dish or in a Chilluna Dry Dock travel tin, where a removable insert keeps the bar elevated above residual moisture. Avoid leaving bars sitting in water, as keeping them dry between uses helps them stay firm and last longer.
What is the Dry Dock?
The Chilluna Dry Dock is a reusable travel tin designed for shampoo and conditioner bars. Its removable raised insert keeps the bar elevated above residual moisture, helping it stay protected and dry more effectively between uses.
How do I travel with Chilluna hair bars?
Allow the bar to dry before placing it in the Dry Dock whenever possible. The removable Dry Dock insert lifts out of the tin and can be used at your destination as a compact soap dish, helping keep the bar elevated while it continues to dry. If you need to pack the bar while still damp, keep it on the insert and reopen the tin as soon as you can so airflow can finish the drying process.
What is the Dry Dock insert made from?
The removable Dry Dock insert is made with locally sourced recycled PETG and designed for long-term, repeated use. With normal care, it should remain functional for many years, helping keep your bar raised above moisture inside the tin.
Shipping & Orders
When will my order ship?
Orders are prepared in small batches and shipped twice weekly to ensure care and quality in every package. Please allow a few days for processing before dispatch.
Once shipped, delivery times will vary depending on your location.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Prepaid local pickup is available from Chilluna’s Burnaby studio during designated pickup hours after you receive a Ready for pickup email. The studio is not open for shopping or drop-ins, and full pickup instructions are provided with your order.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship within Canada. We hope to expand shipping destinations in the future.
What if my order arrives damaged, incorrect, or I have another concern?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, or you have another concern, please contact Chilluna through our contact form and include your order number and a brief description of the issue. For damaged items, photos of the product and packaging may help us resolve the problem more quickly.
