None of our products are packaged in plastic nor do we use it in our shipping material.

From Scientist to Zero‑Waste Advocate

My own journey into solids began in the lab. I was trained in cosmetic chemistry, yet felt uneasy creating products for single-use plastic bottles. Walking drugstore aisles lined with row upon row of plastic bottles, I realized endless plastic consumption is unsustainable. After all, every piece of plastic ever made still exists. Learning that ~91% of plastic is never recycled was a wake-up call. One day I thought, “We don’t have to live like this.” That was my lightbulb moment. Rather than contribute to the cycle, I set out to reformulate products in solid form. Now, swapping a bottle for a bar feels like an act of science-backed resistance. Solid formats embody the future I want; luxurious, efficient, clean, and gentle on Earth.
